Prairie Technical Conferences

Organizations are looking for ways to increase their employee’s skills while maximizing training and professional development budgets. Two years ago the first Prairie Developer Conference was held in Regina, Saskatchewan to meet this need. It provided a high quality professional development opportunity locally, without the high costs of travel and accommodation typically associated with remote conferences.

Since that first Prairie Developer Conference in June 2010 there have been 3 more Prairie Technical Conferences:

• Prairie Dev Con 2011 – Regina
• Prairie Dev Con 2011 – Winnipeg
• Prairie IT Pro & Dev Con 2012 – West (Calgary)

In October 2012 we’re returning for our third event in Regina – Prairie IT Pro & Dev Con 2012!

Prairie IT Pro & Dev Con – Regina

The conference will be held on October 1 – 3 2012 at the Delta Regina Hotel and Conference Centre. For the first time in Regina the conference will be 3 days and offer a mixture of software development and IT professional related topics!

October 1 – 2 will be dedicated to software development, while October 3rd will be entirely focussed to IT professionals. Attendees will have the option of registering for either the 2-day software development portion, the 1-day IT professional portion, or all 3 days.

We've seen attendance numbers almost double from between our first two Regina events, and this year we're aiming for over 250 attendees! This will definitely be the technical learning event of 2012!

Sponsorship Opportunities

We have a number of sponsorship opportunities available, providing various levels of visibility and value-added features.

Diamond – 1 Available

Diamond is our top-tier sponsorship level, providing highest level of visibility and benefits. We customize this level for those interested, so please contact us if you’d like to be our Diamond sponsor.

Platinum – 2 Available

Platinum sponsorship is a conference-wide level that provides visibility over all three days of the conference. In addition to signage/marketing recognition, it includes booth space, 2 vendor session slots, and 4 complimentary conference passes.

Gold - 6 Available Each for Software Development and IT Professional Portions

Gold sponsorship provides visibility for either the Software Development or IT Pro portion of the conference. In addition to signage/marketing recognition, it includes booth space, 1 vendor session slot, and 2 complimentary passes to the associated days of the conference.

Silver - 6 Available Each for Software Development and IT Professional Portions

Silver sponsorship provides visibility for either the Software Development or IT Pro portion of the conference in the form of signage/marketing recognition.

Prize Sponsors

Prize sponsors are recognized on the conference website's sponsor page and at the lunch-hour prize giveaways.

What are Vendor Sessions?

Vendor Sessions are 30 - 45 minute long talks delivered over the lunch hours at the conference. They are intended to be sales/marketing level sessions, but the time can be used covering whatever topic you'd like.
