We’ve added to new sessions to the schedule as Michael Norton regrettably cannot attend the conference.
Joel Semeniuk will be presenting his TechEd talk “Lean Thinking, Hefty Results” and James Kovacs will follow up his NHibernate Dojo session with an “Advanced NHibernate” lecture.
Please review the schedule page of our site to review the changes that have been made to the timetable, and also the sessions page to read the abstracts for these two sessions.

What is a Hands On Coding/Dojo Session?
These are sessions where attendees bring their own computers and are led through a coding session by the presenter. The Prairie Developer Conference is featuring a number of Hands On Coding sessions covering jQuery, nHibernate, refactoring, Test Driven Development, and Behaviour Driven Development.
What Do I Need to Bring?
Bring along a computer (laptop works best obviously) as well as a prepared environment to follow along with the examples presented. To aid this, review the software requirements below for each of the Hands On Coding sessions.

Additional materials will be made available at the session.

Real World Behaviour Driven Development with Amir Barylko
Visit Amir’s website for details on what is required for this session.

The Regina technology community is putting on a free social event the night before the Prairie Developer Conference at the Delta Regina! This is a fantastic opportunity for conference attendees and non-attendees alike to come out and meet with the presenters as well as connect with their local technology community!
Conference attendees can beat the rush on Wednesday morning by registering Tuesday night at the event and receiving their attendee package (lanyard, nametag, etc.). Also, we’ll be doing a prize draw just for conference attendees at the community event that night!
The community-leaders are providing finger food and non-alcoholic beverages, and Prairie Developer Conference is providing each attendee with one alcoholic beverage drink ticket.
For more information including how to register for the event (we need to know how much food to order!), click here!
